Art Graff: Art has been with the Sacred Heart Men’s Choir from the beginning. He is active in his township as a board member, and has also been helpful in the church in many ways. The altar reconfiguration done a while ago was designed and built by Art and his son Chris. Art’s favorites from our recordings include Hosea; O Lord, I Am Not Worthy; Sing With Joy! Glory Hallelujah!; and You Will Always Be a Child In My Eyes.
Austin Hessling II.: Austin has been with the choir for more than 25 years, and was one of the several choir members to sing with his father on Christmas From the Heart. On that same recording he has a solo on “If Every Day Was Like Christmas.” His favorites on our recordings include Evening Prayer (he loves the four part harmony); Mary Did You Know? (as it showcases the instrumental and vocal talent of the leaders of our choir); In His House; Sweet Baby Jesus; and Earthen Vessels. Austin enjoys being in the choir because we can share the talents God has given us to pray and praise Him, and share with and help the people of our church, community, and all that are touched by the work of the choir. He also enjoys being able to spend time with such a wholesome group of men who inspire him to live his life better.
